First, we will learn about daily greetings in the class or
during the class. There are so many but easy to remember. Okay, let’s start the
class. Tehehehe.
Kyōshitsu no shiji no kotoba. 教室の支持のことば。
(Instructions and greetings in the class)
- Hajimemashō はじめましょう。 Let’s we start (the class).
- Owarimashō おわりましょう。 Let’s end the class.
- Yasumimashō やすみましょう。 Let’s take a break.
- Tsuzukimashō つずきましょう。 Let’s we continue.
- Benkyō-shimashō べんきょうしましょう。Let’s study.
- Wakarimasu ka わかりますか。 Understand?/ Do you get it?
- Hai, wakarimasu はい、わかります。 Yes, I get it./ yes, understand.
- Iie, wakarimasen いいえ、わかりません。 No, I don’t get it.
- Mō ichido もういちど。 Once more./ Pardon me?/ Say it again, please.
- Kekkō desu けっこです。 It’s enough./ It’s good.
- Dame desu だめです。 Don’t/ No/ It’s wrong.
- Namae なまえ。 Name.
- Shiken しけん。 Test/ examination.
- Shitsumon しつもん。 Question.
- Kotae こたえ。 Answer.
- Rei れい。 Example.
- Shukudai しゅくだい。 Home work.
- Yonde kudasai よんでください。 Read it, please.
- Kaite kudasai Write it, please.
- Kokuban ni kaite kudasai. Write it on the board, please.
- Issho ni yonde kudasai. Read it together, please.
- Issho ni itte kudasai. Say it together, please.
- Issho ni dōzo kudasai. Do it together, please.
- Kurikaeshite kudasai. Repeat after me.
- Ōkii koe de itte kudasai. Say it louder, please.
- Chotto matte kudasai. Wait a moment, please.
- ~peji o akete kudasai. ~ぺじおあけてください。 Open page~
- Shukudai o dashite kudasai. しゅくだいおだしてください。Collect the home work.
- Hon o minai de kudasai. ほんおみないでください。 Don’t look at your book.
- Shitseru shimasu. しつぇるします。 Excuse me.
- Osoku natte, sumimasen. Sorry, I am late.
- Keshite mo ii desu ka May I clean the board? May I erase it?
- Shitsumon ga arimasu ka Any question? Is there any question?
- Hai, arimasu. Yes, there is/ yes, I have a question.
- Iie, arimasen. No, there’s not/ No, there’s no question.
- Kyō wa koko made owarimasu. It’s enough for today.
*suffix “shō” means an order to do something.
